Certifications and documentation
The fairground industrialists are obliged to update the administrative and technical documentation of their attractions, according to regulations. With regard to technical documentation, in addition to that provided by the manufacturer, they must have annual documentation, drawn up by competent technicians and authorized installers, such as the annual inspection certificate and the electrical installation certificate. Barreiro Ingenieros is in charge of preparing this documentation, in addition to carrying out the technical reviews of assembly and safety, prior to the opening of the attraction.
Municipal inspections
Once the rides have been installed at the fairground, the municipal technicians have the power to inspect them to verify the safety conditions and the concordance of the technical project presented with the final assembly. During these visits, special attention is paid to mechanical attractions, checking their electrical installations, structures, fastening and braking systems, firefighting equipment, delimitation of spaces and, in general, any circumstance that could reduce safety and health conditions for users or workers.

At municipal holidays, festivals and fairgrounds, it is very common to find stalls, game or skill booths and catering stalls (foodtrucks, hamburger, kebabs, churros, waffles or similar), which also have cuisine equipment. All of them have installations with electricity and/or gas supply, and therefore, they are obliged to have, among other requirements, the mandatory industry authorizations, such as the electrical installation certificate (CEI), formerly known as "boletín eléctrico".

Barreiro Ingenieros has been offering its industrial engineering services since May 2012. Currently, we cover three geographical areas: Levante, Andalusia and the Canary Islands. Our main office is located in Alicante, from where we provide services to different municipalities in the Valencian Community and the Murcia Region. Our activity in Andalusia is mainly focused in Almeria and Malaga, although we provide our services throughout the community. In the Canary Islands, we cover the entire archipelago, with headquarters on the island of Tenerife.
